B. MICROSOFT MULTILANGUAGE SUPPORT To display entries in central European languages (Bulgarian, Czech,
Hungarian, Polish, Slovakian, Slovenian, and Russian) and in Turkish,
Microsoft Multilanguage Support must be installed/activated on your PC.
The procedure is different for Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP and for Windows
NT 4.0. Please refer to your Microsoft Documentation or contact Microsoft
support in order to display characters in these languages. C. CD SETUP PROCEDURE 1. Place the SAPterm CD in your CD-ROM drive. When you choose 'SAPterm' to start TRADOS MultiTerm Dictionary for the first time, you must explicitly open the dictionary file. 1. Choose 'File > Open Dictionary...'. Thereafter the dictionary viewer program will note the location of the dictionary file and open it automatically. D. KNOWN ISSUES D.1. Compatibility with Microsoft Windows XP To run the terminology viewer program under Microsoft Windows XP, you must ensure that the program is run in "compatibility mode". To run the program in compatibility mode make sure that the executable program 'MD.EXE' has been installed on your hard drive. Then right-click on 'MD.EXE' and set the compatibility mode as desired. D.2. Feedback Function in Dictionary Viewer The TRADOS MultiTerm Dictionary function 'Send Message to Administration' has been disabled. Use the feedback channels indicated under point 4 below in order to contact the SAPterm CD 2002 Project Team. D.3. Quality of Individual Entries All the entries on this CD have been reviewed and released in accordance with SAP's internal terminology quality control processes. In rare instances, individual entries may contain errors. Use the feedback channels indicated under point 4 below in order to report suspected errors to the SAPterm CD 2002 Project Team. D.4. Other Issues There are no other known technical problems with the July 2002 version of the SAPterm CD. Should any issues arise, they will be described and solutions offered as SAP Notes.
